Although the service of Infrastructure and Public Facility Handling (PPSU) officer freelancer is much needed, Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) still smelt a fraud action from officials and field foremen regarding PPSU data. 

PPSU officer's welfare will be improved, as long as they can work diligently

"The mode is like PPSU officer's ATM fully controlled by official and filed foreman. Please report it to me if you find the case," stressed Ahok after he led a massive ceremony of PPSU, in Monas, Central Jakarta, Saturday (8/15).

He disclosed, in future, every PPSU officer will be equipped with operational vehicle to support their duty.

"PPSU officer's welfare will be improved, as long as they can work diligently ," he exclaimed.

On the other hand, a flat for PPSU officer was also planned to be provided. Even, the family would get the Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) and Jakarta Health Card (KJS).

"We also want to encourage them to ride Transjakarta bus because many of them stay outside Jakarta," he stated.

As for information, the city administration had allocated Rp 2-3 billion to urban village heads to recruite PPSU worker for this year. The budget was allocated to pay wage of Rp 2.7 million per month, insurance, purchase building material and one unit pick-up car as operational vehicle.

The total number of PPSU workers in each urban village is between 40-70 people, depend on the area and its population. The small area will have 40 officers and 70 officers in large area.

Those should meet requirements, such as must be aged 18-58 years old, have a title at least Elementary School (SD) and have Jakarta ID card.
